I'm Jeanne Kimble, a licensed psychotherapist working with adults struggling with symptoms of chronic stress, anxiety, depression, and developmental trauma — particularly as they show up in relationships, parenting, work and career, health concerns, and major life transitions.
My work focuses, at the outset, on helping clients identify and let go of the problem memories, stuck emotions, and traumas that can drive persistently negative thoughts and unhelpful patterns of behavior. Underneath all of that is something that was never damaged — clearing what's covered it is how it comes back into view.
We start by identifying and processing the problem memories, stuck emotions, and traumas that drive persistently negative thoughts and unhelpful patterns of behavior — clearing the obstacles and undue stress that stand in the way.
From there, the work becomes specific to you. It's my personal goal to help clients reconnect with the unshakable trust in their true, whole self — already there beneath the noise — so more of life can be lived with greater love, meaning, and a sense of ease.
My work is integrative and holistic, assuming a continuous mind-body-brain-world connection. My clinical orientation draws primarily from psychodynamic, humanistic, and attachment-based theory, and is highly informed by affective neuroscience and Buddhist psychology.
As appropriate to your needs — not a fixed protocol.
I've worked with adults, children, and families, providing social work and counseling services within private agency, government, and private practice settings for over 30 years. Licensed as a mental health counselor in Washington in 2015, I currently provide individual therapy to adults in an online private practice.
My therapeutic work is integrative and holistic, assuming a continuous mind-body-brain-world connection — the understanding that what's happening in your thoughts, your body, and your relationships is never really separate.
Private pay is $160 per 50-minute session.
I can accept Aetna and Cigna insurance directly.
